• Geographic Information: SierrAzul is located in the north-eastern foothills of
the Andes range, in the province of Napo, 145 km from Quito, Ecuador, at an altitude that ranges from 2,200 m to 2.600m.

• Access: The trip to SierrAzul by car or bus from the city of Quito takes about two hours on a paved road and half hour on a secondary road. The trip starts in Quito and crosses the towns of Papallacta, Cuyuja, Baeza and Cosanga vicinity, at this point we detour to the area called "The Caucheras" and arrive at the river bridge Cosanga 14 km after the detour.
• Climate: SierrAzul is classified as "Mountain Cloud Forest" as it keeps high rainfall and temperatures ranging between 8 and 25 degrees Celsius. Nearby the hostelry, a meteorological station was installed in cooperation with the INHAMI which has allowed us to obtain real information on rainfall and determine the different rainy seasons in the area, being the months between April and August the most important.
